Well another week of games is complete and another week where the road to the national championship gets a little more clear. With #1 Texas holding on to beat then #6 Oklahoma State and #3 Penn State holding on to beat then #9 Ohio State the AbsolutePigskin.com computer rankings were shaken up a bit. Again these rankings do not take into account any human pollsters and is done strictly based on statistics and strength of schedule. Without further ado here is the 2nd edition of the computer rankings, top 25. If you ware wondering how these rankings are computed the explaination is found in the first edition of the rankings here. This week the strength of schedule of the top teams seems to be playing more of a factor which explains why Boise St. is ranked ahead of Penn State. As the season progresses this will work itself out as each team plays their full schedule and it will be interesting to see how it shakes out in the long run.
