Kevin Newsome, the 6-3, 217lbs product of Chatham, VA announced today the he intends to play his collegiate football for the Penn State Nittany Lions.  Newsome is ranked the 4th best dual threat quarterback in the nation and is also one of the top 250 players in the nation according to Rivals.com.  Newsome chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Boston College and Virginia Tech.  Originally Newsome committed to Michigan but later backed off his commitment to the Wolverines.  Newsome is expected to graduate early from Hargrave Military and enroll at Penn State in January of 2009.
