Given the option to walk on at the University of Tennessee or receive a
full scholarship to the University of Purdue, former Miami Hurricane
quarterback Robert Marve made the correct choice and will play for the
Boilermakers. NCAA transfer rules require Marve to sit out a year
before being eligible to see any playing time but the addition of Marve
should prove to be a major boost for a program that has largely been
stagnant over the past few years. The pro-style quarterback out of
Tampa Florida was a four-star recruit as a high school senior.
